Happy Fourth of July Macaroni Kid Families!
July 4th is quickly approaching, and we have to start planning the menu filled with delicious food, and prepare for the fun festivities. If your family is anything like ours, the 4th of July is one of the highest celebrated holidays! We start planning in May with what we are going to eat, and what fun family activities we are going to participate in. However, this year may be a bit different with firework shows being canceled but the fun must go on. As a family, we will continue to fire up the smoker and make (several) yummy meals while the kids are out in the backyard enjoying the day. Having that in mind, I have compiled a fun list of recipes, at-home activities, and a local firework show that is available to attend if you choose. Remember as the celebration continues throughout the day and into the evening, please follow all local guidelines and safety precautions in regard to fireworks. Enjoy your 4th of July and be safe!
