A Family day at the Park: City of Orting

Hello my fellow park-goers! 

Here is a wonderful list of local parks in the City of Orting!  Quick reminder that we are in phase 2, so please be aware of regulations per Washington State during COVID-19. Do your best, and  most of all enjoy the fresh air!!! If you attend any of these parks post your smiling face on our social media page, we would love to see your family-fun! 


3 Corner Park

The mini park is located at 404 Harmon Way South. Which is on the corner of Harmon Way & Corrin Ave SW.  Key features include: walkway, and a few benches.


Calistoga Park 

The park is located at 802 Calistoga St W. of Calistoga St W & Skinner Way SW.  Key features include: access to the Puyallup River, gravel parking lot, athletic field, playground equipment, and a fenced area for dogs.  (neighborhood park)


Charter Park

The park is located at 425 Washing Ave SE.  Off of Washington Ave SE (by the Public Safety Building).  Key features include: paved parking lot, access to the Foothills Trail or Puyallup river, skateboard area, dirt hills for bicycle jumping, an open grassy area, benches, and a picnic area. Foothills Trail

This beautiful trail is a natural resource that runs through with a paved trail and a horse trail alongside of it! Key features include: variety of access points, paved trail that is good for strollers-bike riding, specific trail for horseback riding, and access to the Puyallup River. 


Gratzer Sports Park

This park is located at 401 Whitehawk Blvd NW.  Off of Whitehawk Blvd NW. Key features include: athletic fields, gravel parking area.  The fields are typically used by the Parks and Recreation programs, but may be reserved for use.  (community park)


Main City Park

This park is located at 101 Train St SE in the downtown area, right off of the main street.  Key features include: play equipment, public restrooms, benches, picnic area, horse shoe pits, a memorial wall, gravel parking area, covered area available for reservation, athletic court, gazebo available for reservation, access to the foothills trail. Memorial Park

The park is located at 104 Whitesell ST NW off of Whitesell St NW.  Key features include: small walk way, memorial rock listing, sitting area (community park)


North Park

The park is located at 101 Washington Ave NW. Off of Washington Ave NW and Calistoga St. W.  Key features include: paved parking lot, a fountain, a brick area for bollards, an open grassy area, a rain garden, and the Orting Station Building is available for reservations. (Community Park)


Rainier Meadows Park

The park is located at 511 Brown St SE which is in the middle of a housing development.  If you need to access the park it is best to park on Brown Way SE and walk in.  Key features include: play area, athletic court, sitting area, a small walking trail, and open grassy areas. (Neighborhood Park)


Triangle Park

The park is located at 312 River Ave SE at the corner of Bridge St SE and Varner St SE.  Key features include: small open grassy areas, and benches. (Mini Park)


Whitehawak Park

The park is located at 409 Orting Ave NW.  Key features include: paved parking area, athletic court, open grassy area, athletic field, picnic area, play equipment, and sitting area. (Neighborhood Park)


Williams Park

The park is located 1116-A Ross Ave NW.  Key features include: picnic area, perfect spot to rest from the Foothills Trail (Mini Park)
